We thought, erroneously, that there were we enough fan support and interest to compel Disney Lucasfilm to reconsider the canonicity of Grand Admiral Thrawn, a Chiss villain, in the Empire for the Star Wars Rebels TV show.
We were wrong. Belligerent objection is what Disney Lucasfilm listens to. Not art, classical music or their appreciation or interpretation. They prefer the troll that put billboards up, that studies about synesthesia.
Corporate culture has its quirks and what we asked rational fans to do is just like our posted art and interpret it.

Thrawn is a great villain, don’t giv eup the blog just because Disney decided to do something different. THey have already spurned the previous EU but that’s because they wouldn’t have any room to GROW the franchise. We should think of the EU as an alternate universe.

Our purpose was to return Thrawn back into canon. We failed to do that. Time to move on.
