Theory of Colours (original German title Zur Farbenlehre) is a book by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe about the poet’s views on the nature of colours and how these are perceived by humans. Published in 1810, it contains detailed descriptions of phenomena such as coloured shadows, refraction, and chromatic aberration.

Goethe is known for his literary influences. But he use to work in science.

Famous art derived from his theories by J.W.M. Turner’s, The fighting Temeraire, 1839.

Distinctions in color is what Thrawn uses to analyze art of cultures. His red-in-red eyes and sclera see several wavelengths that non-Force sensitives cannot see. Each wavelength of color evokes an emotion and mood. Combined with the root parts of paint ingredients for the paint and color, Thrawn can decipher, why the painting was created and the mood of the artist. There is also brush stroke and art structure.
