Our Meta Prediction

“A picture’s worth 1000 words…” so the saying goes.

There are more pics of Thrawn looking and reviewing this slab of Sabine Wren’s art. But this image with him speaking to Governor Arinhda Pryce and Agent Kallus is notable because his back is turned to him as he analyzes the art. Behind the two, are images of Ezra Bridger, the Cubist Mandalorian (based off a famous RL art piece by Picasso’s Guernica); a scratched out piece (might be Sabine’s joke piece of Ezra and Zeb), and the other part of the Cubist Mandalorian heroic piece.

As Thrawn studies the slab, he is drawn in to it. Chiss can see more wavelengths of light than humans. He sees the intricate brush strokes, the color choices, the content, the placement. What some, like Pryce and Kallus would see as graffiti that is a scourge on Lothal, Thrawn sees an artist whose potential has been severely limited because she is a Mandalorian woman. She has not been given a chance. That is when he learns of Sabine’s true backstory. When he does: Not a part of the Imperial Academy, became a bounty hunter, recruited and active with the Rebels, he is enraged.  He feels that the Empire does not invest in its resources properly, more qualified individuals would be lost like Sabine. If Sabine were under his tutelage, she would be a formidable Imperial Officer.

Basically, in this scene, Thrawn goes off on Pryce and Kallus for losing Sabine and he makes it his duty to bring her back into the Empire.

Except…

There is only one way that will work to make that happen. Doubtful this show would do something like that. But it is a part of Thrawn X Sabine
