Thrawn would never go into a confrontational battle with a known Force user. He’d always try to outsmart them. He does not have hang-ups about the use of the Force. In fact he doesn’t care about the Force. To him, he thinks it is a tool that some sentient beings have and can use as needed. The “Off the Shelf” type of Force mentality. He also does not hate Force users. To him, each have their place.
