I just realised the Thrawn novel completely changes how you rewatch Rebels tbh
Now I just keep…pausing??? Because Thrawn’s expressions are so important?
Like
The eyebrow when he hits upon the reason for a factory’s failure simply by looking offscreen, but he doesn’t break the flow of his speech
The YOU-HAVE-COMPRIMISED-THE-INTEGRITY-OF-OUR-PLANS pouty face
Everything-is-going-according-to-keikaku face (also note Pryce being a pyromaniac again in the background, while Kallus is like I’m stuck in a tin can in space with these two)
And this, my personal favourite: I-shot-a-space-moose-because-it-said-I-was-going-to-fail-but-who’s-going-to-talk-with-me-about-it-because-I-sent-my-aide-away face.
Literally the Thrawn book adds so much depth but half of it wants to make you laugh uncontrollably
