What if it wasn’t Thrawn that got killed, but it was one of his clones that he’d set in place so he could return to the Ascendancy with Eli?
Clone… Oh yes, I remember that. Trouble with my genome and the cloning process. Eli is in Chiss space for that reason. I had a very different idea.
