Answer: Some species do know more about us, the Chiss. Our creators, possibly, the Celestials. Not quite sure how or where we originally were, designed. The Ascendancy likes to say we have gotten beyond that time. Perhaps…not.

There has been no…breach. Any information on the Chiss people, the Ascendancy would already have contingency plans to risk manage this situation. We do not keep our people ignorant, unlike some planetary governments do. Like the Republic under the Jedi.
