Hello, I am curious to know how you would approach discovering a new sentient species? In theory this would be a species capable of their own technology, but just haven’t figured out that space travel could be possible.

The Chiss Ascendancy does not engage with sentient species that have not engaged in hyperspace or hibernation capable space travel. It is one of the several ordinances we follow. That is how we manage them. @tweedpawn

OOC: Star Wars story is not one of exploration like Star Trek. The 2 aren’t synomynous. There isn’t “exploration” per se to learn from a scientific perspective. Star Wars as an artform has always been about “used space” – space as if someone used it for their own purposes.
