Emperor Palpatine believes in a free HoloNet and expects and welcomes tough questions of him and the Empire. We will, however, never tolerate a Senator placing his hands on a young woman just trying to do her job as a Imperial intern. This conduct is absolutely unacceptable. It is also completely disrespectful to the Senator’s colleagues not to allow them an opportunity to ask a question. Emperor Palpatine has given the HoloNet more access than any Galactic Leader in history. Contrary to the HoloNet’s assertions there is no greater demonstration of the Emperor’s support for a free HoloNet than the event he held today. Only they would attack the Emperor for not supporting a free HoloNet in the midst of him taking 68 questions from 35 different Senators over the course of 1.5 parsecs including several from the Senator in question. The fact that HoloNet is proud of the way their employee behaved is not only disgusting, it‘s an example of their outrageous disregard for everyone, including young women, who work[s] in this Empire. As a result of today’s incident, the Empire is suspending the hard pass of the Senator involved until further notice.
