Make sure you know who Wookieepedia is underwritten by before you make them your biblical text for all things Star Wars. Since they hate certain aspects of Star Wars they will neglect to mention fair details. I’ve seen it myself. Best start are the novels of the characters you like.
Wermo’s is good, too like someone said.
Enjin and Star Wars Combine helped a lot.
Get Hyperspace if you are able.
If you want to be serious, you must read, everything.
The Star Wars site is not bad. After I have check my references, then I might use the Wook, but they are segregationist misogynists despite the Fandom purchase.
Don’t automate your development too much or you will subvert the canon. Try skimming a few novels and write the character sheets first with an outline of how you will tell the story — these are personal files.
SWAG77 use to review them before publishing. We have stopped.
