If Thrawn is included, the name may be all they keep and his personality may be changed beyond all recognition. Essentially, he may just be a vessel to get the Chiss species back into current canon. For example, if they made him incompetent, slow-witted, uncultured etc.- basically stripped back everything that makes Thrawn ‘Thrawn’. Would you see it as part of your goal to get just any Chiss character into Rebels, or does it absolutely have to be Thrawn? If the species was included in new episodes, would you consider that mission accomplished, or would you continue the push to get Thrawn in?
