Get Thrawn In Campaign Factoids.
When we started the campaign (source), we examined many of the images pre-2016 of Thrawn and found various images of him, and then we examined how LFL created their images of their villains. Most images images of villains in cartoons have a physical dysfunction, subtle or overt, that easily allows children to segregated the difference between the “good guys” vs the “bad guys”.
We specifically did not want that distinction made for Grand Admiral Thrawn and argued for a more “handsome manly appearance”, in our #KissAChiss tee-shirts in 2015 (source).
We caught the eye of LFL in the joke about Thrawn – that he’s a “blue hunk”. Our hope was if we were to ever see Thrawn in any Star Wars form, LFL would honor that.
They did.
We have to try to keep that aspect of Thrawn.
