Lars won’t be the actor underneath the CG or makeup. He could do the voice. The look of Thrawn must be built man with chiseled feature and an ability to get the eyes with contact lens. Moreover, the actor must be able to act and “say” the works. Lars is getting old unless they want that much CG work. It’s a challenge. But what Bob Iger is saying is they have to have a “must see minimum” to make it worthwhile to Disney. Don’t argue with us, argue with Disney.
Thrawn’s voice is technologically easier to accomplish than the look.
They do the LOOK right, they will win Academy Awards should the story arc screenplays and directions along with production work out.
