Possible scenario for a THRAWN script in #StarWarsRebels. This is a WIP.

We do this from time-to-time and we should provide a framework for this story.

We might have to edge outside of the known Legends/Star Wars Expanded Universe canon. The key is to avoid huge conflicts continuity, but allows for creativity, or find a way around it as a famous TV/Movie writers says.

EXT: THRAWN STARES OUT A LARGE WINDOW AS HE WAITS FOR A MEETING WITH EMPEROR PALPATINE (fb)(tw)(tu). HE HAS HAD A FULL TOUR OF THE DEATH STAR WHEN DARTH VADER (fb)(tw)(g+) SPEAKS TO HIM.

DARTH VADER:  I see your tour of this station is complete, Captain. Thoughts?

THRAWN: My Lord? 

DARTH VADER: I can sense them.

THRAWN: Yes, I know. The Emperor and you are Sith. However, you, Lord Vader, your mannerisms are much like that of a Jedi’s and quite unlike that as a Sith’s.

DARTH VADER: Explain.

THRAWN:  Your cordiality, your walk, your phraseology. It’s like a negotiation for you as you try to reach for common ground among your peers. May I inquire, do the problems with this station annoy you, too?.

DARTH VADER: How? How did you know I was? 

THRAWN: Just like a work of art, the greatness of this station has beauty. But this beauty has numerous flaws. They are blemishes for now that will only become apparent when the station is complete and fully operational. By that time huge gaping holes will cause this piece of art to be difficult to ignore. An artist must take it upon himself to learn from these setbacks when they are small and retrace his steps to correct any blemishes. The tour guides missed these tiny flaws, whereas I can see large artifacts in this monstrous technological construction. 

DARTH VADER: What would you suggest?

THRAWN: My Lord, if I can see the flaws, so can our enemies and they might find a way to exploit these flaws and unravel this entire piece of art.

DARTH VADER: I see.

THRAWN: But the Imperials will not listen to either of us. Our enemies will undoubtedly learn of these flaws and when they do, if I were to ever be stationed here, I would have an exit strategy.

THRAWN: My Lord, may I make a suggestion? I am only critiquing art. Of course, all Imperial builds matter.

Evaluate. Honest opinions. It does fall out of SWEU continuity, but it’s tight enough that it could have happened.

#StarWarsRebels Is A Stupid Series…

That’s what a “Star Wars Fan” told us about our campaign to #GetThrawnIn #StarWarsRebels. 

Well, these same people said the same thing about the Prequels.

The fact is, we see it as ONE STAR WARS. It’s a saga. Now it’s Anthologies. Who knows? Anything is possible.

Thing is creativity evolves and we have to roll with the times than cling to that we think we must have and need – things that just disintegrate into meaningless and nothingness.

For the committee, all of us were taught that if we don’t like something, do something about it. We have seen ideas come an go since the Disney changes. A lot of it aggressive negotiations style changes. Many people that were more Light Sided in their Jedi Code thinking and not Dark Sided like the Sith who invoke evolution.

Change can be good. But it has to be planned and thoughtful.

We think we are well positioned to influence that change and we are asking for help.

No one has to help us if they disagree, but please, learn about our project and give it a 2 week honest tryout before you decide to bash it. And please, if you can do one better than us, then by all means, we welcome it. But ripping stuff down is no longer working. It is naysaying and that’s not Star Wars fandom.

Because really, they said Star Wars was a dumb movie to Mr. George Lucas before May 25, 1977…

Star Wars: The Force Awakens has made a deal to appear at San Diego Comic-Con on Friday, July 10. Pray they don’t alter the deal any further …

In the convention’s massive Hall H, Lucasfilm president and producer Kathleen Kennedy, director J.J. Abrams, writer Lawrence Kasdan, and assorted “special guests” will give fans a new glimpse of the Dec. 18 film, although the time hasn’t been specified. 

Star Wars Publishing 2015: 10 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.A bestselling panel of authors will discuss their efforts to retell classic Star Wars stories for a younger generation of fans. Among the scribes will be Alexandra Bracken (the Darkest Minds series), Adam Gidwitz (A Tale Dark and Grim series), Tom Angleberger (The Star Wars Origami books), and Tony Diterlizzi (The Spiderwick Chronicles) in a Q&A led by Lucasfilm’s Mike Siglain. Their work spans from novels to storybooks and craft guides, exploring the characters and tales from the original trilogy.Star Wars Publishing 2015: 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.Another panel on books, although the participants haven’t been announced yet. The Chiss Are Not Here to Challenge Us, But to Teach Us

Chiss are not freaks of nature. They represent a giant leap in human evolution of consciousness. Many Chiss are psychic either through dreams or awake. The one underlying reality about them is they know they are here to change the galaxy into a better place.

Ok. 

1) This group… WE… are willing to admit when we’re wrong. 

Someone brought up information about the art. Especially Chiss eye and how there are no “DARK IRISES” in the Chiss. That individual was right. And we did not know that fact. 

So looked into “Chiss eye” artwork, etc., that we never thought of to do since we’re not artists, and we discovered how they truly do appear consistently. we’ve corrected our discrepancy. Hopefully it works for you Chiss fans.

2) Which means, when you give us suggestions and anons, you really need to be specific: Which blogs, what artwork and why. You’re reasons are just as valid here. We will listen to constructive criticism. BUT it has to give us more than – “do as I say you idiot.” Please. It doesn’t help our cause.

3) What we NOTICED in our search is there aren’t many “STANDARDS” for Chiss Character Design Illustration, such as:  the Pantone colors schemes,  height, turns, schematics, additional equipment, etc. <<< GUESS WHAT? If as fans, we have to come up with that!  We cannot ask Disney Lucasfilm to do that because, well, it costs them money for an idea that they may not believe in. Which means we deliver that to them and show them what’s possible. 

That is part of what viable, feasible and profitable reasons mean.

That is why we opened up this blog to ask for fans help.
